N.W. Metal Fabricators in Oregon is building a new powder coating facility because of fast growth.
The company will build the facility in Richland’s Horn Rapids Industrial Park. N.W. Metal Fabricators has an agreement to buy five acres from the city for $340,000.
“They are a fantastic firm in a great growth phase of their business, and we are pleased we could reach a deal that works for them to grow their company in our area,” Mandy Wallner, the city’s economic development director, told https://www.tricitiesbusinessnews.com.
N.W. Metal Fabricators General Manager Aaron Karlson said the company plans to build two 12,000-square-foot buildings. Karlson owns the company along with his parents, Vendla and Kerry Karlson, who started N.W. Metal Fabricators in 1986 and employs about 45.
Aaron Karlson says they added powder coating about five years ago and told https://www.tricitiesbusinessnews.com that gross revenue increased to $1 million this year, mostly serving the construction and irrigation industries.
