Join the MAMF on Thursday, November 19, at 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for the MAMF's sponsored HazWoper Refresher Class. Due to Covid - 19 this course will be held virtually via Zoom.
Annual HazWoper Refresher Class - Free*
Duration: 8 hours
Applicable Standard(s): OSHA 8 Hour HazWOPER Refresher Standard (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and 1926.65)
Course Description:
The 8-hour HazWOPER training course focuses on providing information for employees at hazardous waste sites.
Some of the topics that this course covers include (but is not limited to):
* OSHA Regulations Updates
* Severe Weather Hazards
* Respiratory Protection and PPE
* Hazard Assessments
* Construction Hazards
* Hearing Conservation
By the end of this course, students will:
* Have reviewed relevant topics covered in 40 hour
* Have learned updates on developments
* Have had hands on experiences with PPE equipment/procedures
* This course is free to members in good standing (current with their dues) and their employees. Nonmember attendees pay $300 per person to attend.
