Introducing New MFANC Executive Director:
On January 15th, join us in welcoming James Simonelli, who has joined MFANC and MFASC as the new Executive Director. Mr. Simonelli brings nearly 30 years of experience representing California’s metals industry—both as a lobbyist and association director. As the current leader of six California metal trade groups, including the California Metals Coalition (CMC), American Foundry Society (AFS) of California, and North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) Chapter 30, he has built a reputation for strong, collaborative leadership across the California metals manufacturing sector.
Attorney John Till on PFAS Lawsuits:John Till is a founding partner of Paladin Law Group and also serves as the firm’s managing partner. He has significant experience in handling hazardous waste litigation, including Comprehensive Environmental Responses, Compensation and Liability Act (“CERCLA”), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (“RCRA”), the Polanco Redevelopment Act, public and private nuisance abatement, and trespass in both federal and state courts. On January 15th, Mr. Till will be speaking on PFAS lawsuits, and their potential impact on metal plating facilities.
