Dayton, Ohio-based Techmetals has received approval for several Boeing specifications.
The approvals include electroless nickel plating for MIL-C-26074, AMS 2404, AMS-C-26074; cadmium plating Type I and II electrodeposited per QQ-P-416 and AMS-QQ-P-416; hard coating aluminum anodize per AMS 2469, MIL-A-8625 Type II; and sulfuric anodize Type II per MIL-A-8625.
Techmetals president Phillip Brockman says the approvals also support Boeing’s supply chain, such as UTAS, Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Otis Technology, UTC Aerospace, Goodrich, Spirit AeroSystems, Triumph Group, PCC Aerostructures, General Dynamics, Raytheon, GE Aviation, Rolls-Royce, Ball Aerospace, Héroux-Devtek, Liebherr Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Moog, Textron and others Techmetals is already certified and approved for Nadcap chemical processing and coatings, AS 9100 Rev D, and as a registered repair station with the Federal Aviation Administration..
