Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline or AAS with 2-5 years experience with a strong growth pattern in a manufacturing environment.
Possess a thorough grasp of manufacturing activities.
Experience with ISO9001:2015
Experience with APQP
Job Duties and Requirements:
Maintain the Quality Management System, as defined by the AS9100 standard, along with other external customer requirements. Act as the system management representative during customer and 3rd party audits.
Develop staff, which displays both professionalism and competence, relative to recognized methods and behaviors in the realm of quality management and continuous improvement.
Effectively train and mentor staff as required to establish basic knowledge of quality management techniques such as audit, measurement systems, basic statistical methods and application, standardized problem solving, and other relevant topics.
Integrate the quality management system to strongly support research & development, operations, customer service, sales, and marketing functions in the achievement of overall customer satisfaction objectives.
Promote and integrate a quality of culture environment within the leadership team and manufacturing site.
Facilitate, lead and / or participate in continuous improvement activities to achieve business objectives.
Responsible for the execution of assigned continuous improvement projects, while identifying projects that may lead to better processes, quality, and savings.
Oversee the effectiveness of the Corrective and Preventive Action program
Effective and timely resolution of customer complaints.
Timely and accurate reporting of quality key performance and associated metrics supplier performance, internal and external non-conformances, etc.
Ensure stable and predictable performance of measurement systems through established Measurement System Analysis methodologies.
Management of the testing laboratory, equipment, and technical staff, where applicable.
Certification and documented training in methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management and Total Quality Control, preferred
Demonstrate leadership abilities to influence without authority to accomplish successful results, using a collaborative approach.
Must possess the ability to analyze, problem solve and generate new ideas, across a variety of business processes.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
Capable of effective communication with all levels of the organization by both verbal and written means.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
