Jerry Burchett will be the new Vice President of Sales at Patriot Metal Finishing Systems, a provider of powder coating, liquid coating, finishing equipment, pretreatment chemicals and turn-key finishing systems located in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Burchett began his career in the liquid and powder coationg industry in 1982, and has many years of experience in coatings and application equipment. He has been a committee member for Education and Development for the Powder Coating Institute (PCI), and a speaker for education seminars for PCI.
"Jerry brings a wealth of expertise to the Patriot team," says Matthew DeVries, president of Patriot Metal Finishing Systems. "We are expecting major sales growth in the next 5-10 years, and Patriot is working to develop a highly qualified staff of employees that have proven leadership and technical sales ability. Jerry’s addition to Patriot expands our level of expertise and professionalism."
Besides his involvement with PCI, Burchett has been involved with the Casket Funeral Suppliers Association, where he served on the board of directors for 7 years. He also served as a board member from 2011-2014, treasurer 2014-2015, vice president 2015-2016, president 2016-2017, and past president 2017-2018
Burchett and his wife Patti have been married for 41 years, and have two children and four grandchildren.
