What we are working on for 2023:
Ty CrowderThe Portable Trim Finishing System (TFS-120) is designed to sand and spray trim with a 34” minimum length (unlimited length) and 12” maximum width. With an adjustable throughput speed of 0-150 feet per minute, the TFS-120 increases production by producing a mile of molding an hour with consistent quality. The TFS-120 is mobile and can be placed in the spraying zone of a functional booth. It is equipped with three spray guns that are both solvent-borne and waterborne-compatible.
Total Finishing Systems, our manufacturing division, recently added a CNC plasma cutter. We expanded our manufacturing capacity with the opening of the Riverside plant. Added a plasma cutter, which cut lead times by approx. 30%. We can also now manufacture the majority of a large finishing system (One example - we are able to do 70% of a customer’s line in-house, whereas before, we were only able to do 20%)

In 2022, we launched two new air-assisted airless manual spray guns under the TFS brand - the Viper and the Mamba.
- The Viper spray gun uses our Mix Tech spray technology to provide exceptional atomization, performance, value, durability, and finish quality. The Viper spray gun boasts an 86% transfer efficiency and can be used with water-based or solvent-based coatings with fluid pressures up to 120 bar (1,740PSI).
- The Mamba Mix Tech 200 bar (2,900PSI) manual spray gun delivers exceptional performance, value, and finish quality. With a high transfer efficiency, the Mamba Mix Tech competes with other much higher-priced spray guns.
MS Elite Powder Cart Spray System - Dual Applicator: This versatile system is ready for your manual powder coating needs. The MS elite is a small stand-alone coating unit. This dual unit consists of two MS elite M5 manual powder spray guns, two controllers, and an elite suction system or fluidized hopper with a T9 pump. These items are all on a mobile cart. The base of the cart can be configured in two ways. For the vibratory box-fed version, there is a vibrator that mobilizes the powder in suspension, allowing easier transport to the applicator. For the fluidized hopper, pneumatic pressure is used to mobilize the powder to allow transport to the applicator. Basic control units come standard, with Deluxe units sold separately. Single applicator carts are also available.

Automation, whether it’s a process or system or other, is key. With labor shortages and the possibility of a slowdown coming, customers agree automation is a big deal and gives them the ability to be more competitive. They can lower operating costs while increasing production output because they can run a line 24 hours a day if necessary.
