William Grady Harder, Jr., an owner and president of Electro Lab II in Olsmar, Florida since 1977, passed at 82 on July 19.
ElectroLab is a Mil-Spec anodizing, plating, and metal finishing facility that provides a wide range of quality services to the aerospace, military, automotive, precision machining, and metal fabrication industries. It began in 1965, and operated a facility in Tampa adjacent to the Tampa International Airport, and then design and construct a facility in Oldsmar.
Harder, who was known to most as Grady, was born in Dallas, TX and was a member of the Cracker Boys Bass Club and loved fishing, fishing, fishing and his family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia, and his daughter, De De Waddell, and his sons, William “Buddy” and Lonnie. He is also survived by his brother Rick and his sister Tonja, along with six grandsons and a great granddaughter.
