Registration is open for the NASF Michigan chapter Midwest Seminar to be held September 17-19 at the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Michigan.
The event starts at noon on Sept. 17 with a welcoming lunch, followed by speakers from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A cocktail reception will be held at 6:00 p.m., with a dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday’s events start with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and then speakers until lunch at 1:00 p.m. There is an option for golf afterward.
Speakers include:
- Laurie Harbour, President and CEO, Harbour Results Inc.; As a trusted advisor to the North American manufacturing industry, Laurie leads a team of analysts and consultants to help small to medium sized manufacturers develop short and long term strategies, improve their operations, reduce risks and optimize business.
- Mike Carey, CSO and Co-Founder, ATLAS Space Operations, Inc.; The race to build more rockets to put more spacecraft in orbit economically is changing the dynamics of data collection and information flow. Recently, SPAC markets and capital investments have seen the growth of this useful industry and resurgence of a space race. Mike will help to answer the question...how will Michigan choose to participate in this exciting new market?
- Daron Gifford, Partner, Plante Moran; A global leader in the automotive industry, Daron will provide key insights on how technology is shaping both the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Daron holds a certification in electroplating and surface finishing (CEF), interpreting strategies for industry growth, using objective, data-driven analysis.
A full list of speakers to be announced soon. NASF Michigan chapter says they have a limited number of rooms at a rate of $309 per night including breakfast the regular rate is $679. The Grand Hotel will honor the rate through Monday if attendees would like to stay longer to explore the island.
