Extreme Coatings in St. Petersburg, FL and Precision Spray and Coatings in Houston, TX have formed a joint venture to merge their Houston operations.
The combined entity will create one of the largest industrial coating offerings in North America and give both companies the ability to promote a combined offering that includes:
- 130,000 combined sq ft. of operations
- 10 chrome plating tanks
- 9 HVOF spray operations
- ID/OD plating
- ID/OD thermal spray
- Shot peen
- 10 thermal spray powder formulations manufactured and produced in the USA by Extreme’s parent company, Surface Engineering Alloy Company.
- Twin arc
- Spray and fuse
The merger gives Precision Spray and Coatings additional spray capacity, access to Extreme’s ID spray technology, and a reliable source of thermal spray powders produced at Extreme’s facility in Florida. For Extreme, the merger gives Extreme access to Precision’s chrome plating technology to complete it’s offering to the agricultural and plastics markets, as well as additional spray capacity at its Houston operations location.
