The Powder Coating Institute’s "Powder Coating 202 - Powder Coating Done Right: Advanced" is a two-day hands-on advanced workshop that focuses on in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the powder coating process.

The training is August 16-17 at Gema USA headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The workshop includes expert speakers, hands-on training, lab demos, and an application contest to round out the agenda to optimize your powder coating training!

This two-day hands-on workshop digs deeper into all aspects of the powder coating process. From pretreatment and powder materials to application equipment, system design, and testing methods, this advanced course covers all the major components.

The workshop includes hands-on demonstrations along with traditional classroom learning and is conducted by industry experts in an unbiased and commercial-free manner.

Leading the instructional course are PCI members from BASF/Chemetall, PPG, Gema USA Inc., DeFelsko Corporation, Trimac Industrial Systems, and Nordson Corporation.

There will be ample time in the lab for attendees to spray parts, set up manual guns, and test their skills in the automated booths with an application contest.

The fee is $520 for PCI members and $695 for non-members. Registration fees include Powder Coating Finisher’s Handbook, a printed copy of the presentations, continental breakfast and lunch each day, networking reception, and a certificate of completion.
