The Powder Coating Institute announced the appointment of Kerry Crockett as its new Executive Director.
Crockett will lead the organization’s day-to-day operations and strategic direction, working closely with PCI’s Board of Directors, members, and industry partners to advance the association’s mission.
Crockett has a background in association management, with a track record of building member engagement, strengthening organizational programs, and fostering collaborative relationships among boards, staff, and stakeholders.
She was previously president of NPA Worldwide, a professional recruiting firm, and was also CEO of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association.
“I’m honored to join the Powder Coating Institute and serve an industry that plays such an important role in manufacturing and innovation,” Crockett says. “While I am new to the powder coating industry, I bring a deep appreciation for the value that strong associations provide to their members, and I am eager to learn from the professionals, volunteers, and companies that make PCI such a respected organization.
Crockett says her focus will be on listening, building relationships, and working alongside their Board of Directors, members, and partners to strengthen PCI’s educational offerings, expand member value, and support the industry's continued growth.
“I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to meeting members across North America in the months to come,” she says.
Crockett replaces Todd Luciano, who served as Executive Director of PCI one month before returning to his role with Gardner Business Media. Luciano had replaced Kevin Coursin, who retired as Executive Director in 2025.
PCI’s Board of Directors says they are confident that Crockett’s experience and approach will help guide the association through its next chapter, building on PCI’s work in training, events, publications, and other resources that help members and industry professionals stay competitive and informed in the powder coating market.
Crockett will be on hand to meet members at upcoming events and webinars in the months ahead and welcomes the opportunity for the membership to connect directly.
The Powder Coating Institute is a non-profit trade association that promotes and advances the use of powder coating technology through training, events, publications, and member resources. Founded in 1981, PCI supports more than 100 custom coater members across 31 states and Canada, and says it serves as a resource for education, certification, and industry advancement.
