Perfection Industrial Finishing’s two Arizona locations have been sold to Madison Lake Capital.
Chuck ZinkeCharles Zinke started Perfection Industrial Finishing in Tucson in 1992 and added a second plant in Chandler in 2020, about a 75-minute drive north of Phoenix.
Perfection Industrial Finishing is a provider of metal finishing for the aerospace, defense, industrial, and commercial markets. The company offers a comprehensive suite of in-house capabilities including powder coating, wet painting, anodizing, chemical processing, sandblasting, and precision part marking, enabling efficient, end-to-end finishing solutions for a diverse customer base.
“The experience throughout the initial stages, due diligence, closing, and early transition has been overwhelmingly positive and thoroughly professional,” Zinke says. “The team is very comfortable with this change and excited about what the future holds."
Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Madison Lake Capital is a private equity firm that says it operates under a flexible, independent sponsor model, pursuing acquisitions, recapitalizations, and strategic investments across a diverse range of industries, including business services, manufacturing, technology, and supply chain. Taking both majority and minority ownership positions, Madison Lake Capital says it works closely with leadership teams to implement growth initiatives, enhance operations, and build scalable platforms through a hands-on, collaborative approach.
Madison Lake Capital already owns Scotts Industrial Coatings in Green Bay, WI, which offers powder coating and liquid coatings, as well as media blasting. The company began in 2000 and operates out of a 64,000-square-foot facility.
Madison Lake Capital says that PIF's quality standards and comprehensive array of certifications—including NADCAP, ITAR, CMMC, and ISO—position the company to capitalize on growing demand from defense and data center projects. They say PIF's tenured employee base and deeply rooted customer relationships will be integrated into the broader platform, forming a unified national firm poised for continued growth.
