Danco Medical, part of the Lincotek Group, will launch a second production site in Warsaw, Indiana, early in 2024 to add capacity in aluminum anodizing and deep image graphics.

With the investment, original equipment manufacturers and manufacturing partners should be able to get their products to market even faster.

Global solution provider Lincotek, based out of Parma, Italy, announced its acquisition of a majority stake in Danco Medical in February 2022. Danco can trace its history to 1971. The business is known as a one-stop shop for surface preparation and finishing solutions, providing a wide range of product identification methods to medical orthopedic device companies. It is also a leader in aluminum and titanium anodizing.

Deep image graphics are the industry-leading graphics process used on orthopedic delivery systems, but they are seeing growing popularity in other sectors, too. Danco will add automation and larger tanks for the anodizing process, allowing the business to handle more volume and deal with larger-sized parts. The project is vital to the company’s commitment to serving its existing and prospective customers better through a streamlined process and a fluid transition at every stage, according to the company.

The new facility will be approximately 25,000 square feet and will be next door to the existing facility on Executive Boulevard in Warsaw.

“Through this investment, we’ll continue our long-standing commitment to our customers with best-in-class service,” says Tim Zentz, general manager of Danco Medical. “We look forward to making this next chapter in our story a success, continuing our partnership with new and existing customers, and drawing upon this added capacity.”

“We are continuing our global investment program to support OEMs globally,” said Gennaro D’Andrea, general manager of Lincotek Medical Division. “Danco Medical and Lincotek share the same set of values around service, reliability, and customer orientation, and together, we are committed to delivering even more valuable solutions.”
