Haviland Enterprises, Inc., a globally recognized manufacturer and distributor of specialty and commodity chemistry, named Vonn Schopp as Director of Manufacturing for Haviland Product’s Company.
Schopp will direct all HPC manufacturing operations, spanning three facilities.
“Vonn believes in creating an atmosphere of trust and vision in a safe environment,” says Rob Pawson, Vice President of Haviland Products Company. “He will play a pivotal role in creating sustainable programs to drive manufacturing excellence.”
Schopp brings over 20 years of chemistry, safety, and plant management experience to Haviland. He most recently worked as a plant manager at PLZ Aeroscience Corporation and Rustoleum, where he was instrumental in increasing the productivity and profitability of both companies.
“My leadership style is to value and encourage the associates’ voices on the floor to be the owners of what success looks like for the site,” said Schopp.
The California State University-Dominguez Hills alumnus will work to maintain Haviland’s environment of continuous improvement in all aspects of HPC operations with a concentration on safety and customer satisfaction.
Founded in 1934, Haviland Enterprises, Inc. is a chemical supplier for cleaning, plating, recreational water, and other applications.
