Anne Goyer, president of Goyer Management International, is pleased to announce that several new staff members have recently been hired.
Ron Lum has been hired to take on the role of vice president of sales, education, and membership which became open when Bruce Bryan retired last summer. Ron will be providing support to the Chemical Coaters Association International’s (CCAI) current chapters and developing new chapters; recruiting new members; selling FABTECH booth space alongside Andy Goyer; assisting in the CCAI programming development for the CCAI FABTECH FINISHING conference; managing CCAI’s Tech Week program for high schools and more.
Ron has more than 30 years of manufacturing experience, including more than 20 years in the pretreatment industry, providing sales and support for chemical processes and control equipment with Coral Chemical Co. Ron also has experience as a powder coating sales representative and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Cal State University Fresno.
“Ron’s dedication to our industry and CCAI chapters over the years makes him an ideal candidate for this position,” Goyer says. “We feel fortunate to have Ron join our team.”
Lynn Newman recently joined Goyer Management as an event manager and will be responsible for event and hotel contract negotiations; on-site event management along with Leslie Muck; research for future events; and management of CCAI/PCI’s very popular Peer Group program. Lynn will work on events for all of GMI’s association clients.
Lynn has a strong background in hotel management and has worked in properties from San Diego, Chicago, and Washington DC to properties in the U.K., with responsibilities from guest relations management to reservations, revenue management, catering, and sales. Lynn has a B.A. from the University of Maryland.
“Lynn’s diverse hotel management background makes Lynn a perfect candidate for this position within GMI,” Goyer says. “Her knowledge of hotel operations and customer service will serve our association clients very well.
Both Ron and Lynn will be based in Goyer Management’s Lakewood Ranch, FL, office.
Marty Korecky, recently retired from AkzoNobel, has signed on as a consultant to CCAI and will be in charge of CCAI’s new Industrial Finishing Safety Seminar as well as writing a quarterly Safety column for The Finishing Touch, CCAI’s newsletter. Marty will also serve as a course instructor for CCAI’s online courses.
Goyer Management provides association and event management services and staff to the Chemical Coaters Association International, the Powder Coating Institute, the Industrial Heating Equipment Association, and the FINISHING Pavilion at FABTECH.
