Micron Industries in Garland, Texas, hired Bud Mitchell as its Business Development Manager.
Mitchell previously was Sales Manager at AZZ Surface Technologies from 2019 until being hired at Micron. From 2010 to 2019, he was the sales Manager at Preferred Industries and helped grow the company until it was sold to AZZ.
“I am thrilled to have Bud Mitchell on board and confident in his vision to support Micron’s strategic growth plans,” says Guy Saenz, Micron’s CEO.
Mitchell has been married to his wife for 36 years and they have four children. Saenz says he is driven and passionate about developing new customers and industries and will not accept no for an answer.
“He has negotiation expertise in handling complex, high-value deals while maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with clients,” Saenz says. “Bud is also customer centric with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations.”
Mitchell says he is excited to be on the Micron Industries team.
“I enjoy collaborating with some of the best in the industry, and I am equally excited to contribute to the course that is being chartered as we speak,” he says.
Micron Industries is a metal finishing and electroplating company that has been in business for over 50 years. It began in 1971 and operates out of a 70,000-square-foot facility in Garland.
