Hubbard-Hall hired Rick Spicer as Director of Specialty Sales.
With over 30 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, and customer relationship management, Spicer says it takes a process-driven approach to sales, helping customers improve efficiency and achieve their goals.
They say his deep expertise in metalworking and forming markets gives him a unique perspective on cleaning needs, as well as an understanding of the chemistry and the materials, processes, and contaminants involved.
Before joining Hubbard-Hall, Spicer was Vice President of Sales at North American Industrial Supply. He also spent over 26 years at Fuchs Lubricant Company, where he led sales teams, managed key accounts, and implemented customer relationship management initiatives.
Spicer says he is eager to build on Hubbard-Hall’s strong foundation by working closely with the sales team and customers.
“I’m excited to join a company with such a strong history and a culture that truly values curiosity, candor, and courage,” he says. “Hubbard-Hall is a family-run business that fosters a collaborative environment that encourages learning from each other and working together to find the best path forward.”
Spicer will report to Scott Papst, Senior Vice President of Sales, who emphasized Spicer’s expertise and customer-focused leadership.
“Rick brings a unique mix of skills and experience, along with a strong business perspective,” Papst says. “His background in metalworking and forming will help customers optimize their cleaning processes, and his passion for coaching will strengthen our team—ensuring we continue to provide the best technical support and service to manufacturers.”
Spicer’s team includes Jerry Dwyer, Mark Miller, Kevin O’Brien, Stewart Holloway, and Andre DePew.
