Ronatec C2C announced that industry veteran David Fumia has joined the company to lead and expand Ronatec’s Upper USA Northeast operations.
Widely respected throughout the metal finishing industry for his technical knowledge, customer relationships, and hands-on production experience, Fumia brings decades of real-world expertise in electroless nickel processing, aerospace finishing requirements, military specification applications, and large-scale production support.
Ronatec C2C, Inc. specializes in metal-finishing chemistry, process equipment, engineering, and technical consulting services for the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, oil and gas, and industrial finishing markets throughout North America.
In his new role, the company says Fumia will focus heavily on expanding Ronatec’s chemistry and equipment presence throughout the Northeast region, with particular emphasis on:
- Electroless nickel technologies
- Aerospace and defense processing
- Military specification applications
- Production chemistry support
- Process troubleshooting and optimization
- New finishing line equipment opportunities
- Operational efficiency improvements
Fumia’s background combines both technical process knowledge and practical shop-floor experience, making him uniquely positioned to support customers operating in demanding aerospace, defense, and high-specification manufacturing environments.
According to James Wetherald, President of Ronatec C2C, the addition of Fumia represents a major step in Ronatec’s continued expansion strategy.
“Dave is extremely well known and respected in this industry,” Wetherald says. “He understands chemistry, production realities, equipment, customer support, and how to solve problems in real manufacturing environments. That combination is hard to find. His experience within electroless nickel and aerospace processing makes him a huge addition to the Ronatec team.”
Ronatec has continued expanding its North American footprint by focusing on advanced finishing chemistries, engineered process equipment, and high-level technical support for demanding industrial applications. The company’s electroless nickel technologies, including aerospace-approved and RoHS-compliant systems, continue to see strong growth across the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and oil & gas markets.
Fumia will work closely with Ronatec’s engineering, chemistry, and technical support teams to assist customers with both new and existing production operations, helping bridge the gap between chemistry, equipment, and real-world manufacturing performance.
“Ronatec has built a reputation for being aggressive, responsive, and highly technical,” Fumia says. “The company has strong chemistry, strong engineering, and a team that understands production. I’m excited to be part of the growth and help support customers throughout the Northeast market.”
