Carl Troiano Receives Architectural Distinguished Service Award

Trojan Powder Coating is pleased to announce that its founder and president, Carl Troiano, is the recipient of The Architectural Distinguished Service Award, given by The Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) at this year’s awards ceremony.

As an active member of FGIA (formerly AAMA) over the past 15 years, Mr. Troiano has worked passionately to further the industry through technological innovations, forward thinking and leadership. He became President of Trojan Powder Company in 1990 and in the years since has grown the company’s offerings, capabilities, and regional influence, with facilities in Bay Shore New York, Sarasota and Pompano Beach, Florida.

At FGIA’s inaugural awards Annual Conference Awards Banquet in Fort Lauderdale, Mr. Troiano was presented with the esteemed award. The award was created to acknowledge and celebrate an individual who accomplishes formative work on behalf of the FGIA and the Architectural Products Council, Mr. Troiano was surprised and humbled by this honorable recognition.

“When my name was called to be presented with the award, I was so overwhelmed,” says Mr. Troiano of the unexpected honor. “It was a special moment to sit back and revisit what I’ve accomplished over the years.”

Since receiving the award, Mr. Troiano continues to work toward the innovation and growth of Trojan Powder Coating and the industry as a whole. Even during these uncertain times, the company has pushed forward, recently installing a state-of-the-art FUX lamination machine in its Sarasota location. This month, at the Pompano location, a state-of-the-art automated liquid Kynar paint line will be installed to keep up with customer demand.
