Taylor Garrison has joined Miles Chemical as its new Field Service Engineer at its Los Angeles, California headquarters.
Garrison recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in chemical engineering, along with intern experience in a food processing facility, and with water treatment. She was Internal Vice President for the Society of Women Engineers at UCLA, where she managed and led all internal affairs of the organization including membership, event booking, along with selecting and leading a committee. Garrison was also an Engineering Ambassador at the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science.
She is a native of Southern California and grow up in Huntington Beach, where she enjoys travelling, the beach, hiking, and the LA food scene.
“With the upcoming holidays and COVID-19 site visitation restrictions, it will give us an opportunity to provide Taylor with training in the various process chemistries and services we provide,” says Dan Zinman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Miles Chemical.
“Ultimately Taylor will be working in the field and in our Anaheim lab, providing front line customer support,” he says. “Taylor’s addition will further strengthen our ability to locally support our customer’s requirements, now and in the years ahead.”
Miles Chemicals is celebrating its 24th year in the chemical and metal finishing industry. The company was established in 1996 and is based in Arleta, California.
Miles Chemicals provide distribution services custom blending, waste services, and inventory management as part of its overall offerings.
