The family-owned company, founded in 1987 by Karl Rieder and Konrad Hoch, is now led by the second generation. Alongside the transition, the company introduced an updated brand appearance and communication. The updated website will go live in the coming weeks.

The core objective remains unchanged: engineering solutions that keep processes stable, results repeatable, and operations reliable over the long term.
With leadership transferred to Sebastian, Matthias, and Marius Rieder, plating electronic combines continuity in quality and service with clear improvements in structure, transparency, and customer experience. The refreshed brand makes this direction more visible through a consistent modern look and updated communication materials for customers and partners.

The updated website will go live in the coming weeks. It will support customers and partners in project work by providing clearer navigation, structured content, and improved orientation across product categories. At the same time, the service promise remains central: We care for power means service as part of the solution, from engineering and system calculations to integration, commissioning, and lifecycle support. Until then, existing online content and contact routes remain available as usual.
Despite the updated look, key fundamentals remain constant: engineering and manufacturing in Germany, practical engineering expertise, and global support through subsidiaries, partners, and distributors across Europe, North America, and Asia. plating electronic is also active in key industry associations, including ZVO (since 2016), DGO (since 2011) and VOA (since 2009).
