The New England Chapter of the National Association For Surface Finishing is hosting an in-person seminar on Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and HAZMAT training on May 4.
The event will be at the Courtyard Marriott in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This is a continuing education opportunity for waste treatment operators to obtain appropriate credits.
Jeff Mosholder of New Path will moderate this mandatory annual RCRA/HAZMAT training in conjunction with lead presenter Alisa Werst of HRP Associates, who will discuss requirements designed to meet RCRA Reg 40CFR 265.16 annual hazardous waste handling and safety training requirements.
Also featured:
- Brian Morrill, Associate Principal and Vice President of GZA Environmental, will offer a presentation on how to successfully prepare for and handle an environmental audit/inspection
- Jim Occhialini, Technical Specialist and Vice President of Alpha Analytical will be presenting information on PFAS testing, with emphasis on sample collection, currently being required by sewer authorities throughout the state.
Lunch and registration are at 12:00, and the seminar is from 1:00 to 5:00. The fee is $100 for NASF chapter members and $200 for non-members.
