The Chicago Surface Finishing Foundation Golf Outing is Thursday, August 12 at Bartlett Hills Golf Club.
The event helps funds the Chicago Surface Finishing Foundation, whose purpose is to advance and promote the science and technology of surface finishing and associated manufacturing principles. They foundation provide scholarships and awards to students that are interested in this area of study, and also promotes research and development projects, offer technical education, training programs and certification.
The event starts at 8:00 a.m. with registration, followed by a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. A cocktail reception will take place at 2:00 p.m., with lunch and a raffle to follow at 3:00 p.m. The fee for individual golfers is $175, and a foursome is $580, which is a $120 savings. The costs for Reception/Lunch Only is $50.
Sponsorships are available, including hole sponsorships for $120, and a Platinum sponsorship is $1,500, which includes one foursome, but also allows the sponsor to bring golf gifts with a company logo on them to distribute to golfers at check-in, signage at reception, and recognition at reception A Watering hole sponsorship is $1,500, which includes a table on the course at the watering hole, invitation for one company representative to staff assigned hole, reception ticket for one company representative, hole signage
