rack line in a plating operation

Professional Plating Adding Zinc Rack Line

Professional Plating in Brillion, Wisconsin, will be adding a new zinc rack plating machine which will be their sixth rack line.

Larry DietzLarry DietzGeneral Manager Larry Dietz says the new machine and the supporting equipment and systems are currently being fabricated and will be on-site in early 2022.

“We are planning to be operating in production in April 2022,” says Dietz, whose facility provides zinc plating, e-coating and powder coating under one roof.

Professional Plating added large racking plating lines in both 2016 and 2018, but Dietz says they have continued to improve upon their overall quality and value that they are bringing to customer in the zinc plating market.

“The last 16 months have been exceedingly difficult on all of us,” Dietz says. “However, as a Professional Plating family of team members, we have learned new methods and new things about ourselves and our abilities.”

The additional line is not replacing any equipment, but will be an addition to what Dietz says is their “value arsenal” of being able to meet their customers plating needs with not only some of the largest plating lines in the entire Midwest, but one of the most flexible, highest salt spray performing and best quality plating lines anywhere in the United States.
