Chicago Midwest Chapter of NASF is holding its 2021 Leadership Summit in Lake Geneva on October 13 and 14.
The event will be at the Ridge Hotel in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and features speakers and presentations, networking, and important information about the finishing industry. The event's Platinum Sponsor is the Chicago Surface Finishing Foundation.
Attendees can register at www.ChicagoNASF.com. Registration includes a welcome reception; full day educational presentations; breakfast, lunch and snacks; and a closing reception, heavy appetizers and open bar.
Registration fees are $250 for Chicago chapter members and $400 for non-members. Guests and spouses may attend the welcome reception and closing reception only for $150. These fees increase after September 13.

Adam Young and Mark Lies: What to Expect from OSHA in the Biden Administration
Adam Young is a labor and employment partner and the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. With a focus on workplace safety law, Adam regularly helps employers respond to serious accidents and fatalities. He counsels employers on OSHA, DOT, drug and alcohol, and COVID- 19 compliance. Mark A. Biel, CAE, IOM is CEO of the Chemical Industry Council of Illinois (CICI), a statewide trade association. Mark is in the Springfield office which closely monitors legislative and regulatory activity, with emphasis on environmental, energy, tax and tort reform issues. The chemical industry is the 2nd largest manufacturing sector in Illinois generating over $39 billion of product annually. Founded in 1951, CICI represents 111 chemical firms which manufacture, blend, distribute and sell beneficial chemicals. These companies employ over 46,000 people statewide with an average annual wage of over $114,000.
Kathy Steele: What Does Success Look Like?
Kathy Steele is the CEO & President of Red Caffeine, A Growth Consultancy. She is a notable speaker and has been featured at the Gathering of Games Conference, Inc. 5000 Conference, Making Chips Podcast and several others. She has also authored articles for local and national publications, such as the Daily Herald and Forbes. In 2018, Kathy founded the People+People Conference to help business leaders get access to resources that helped her grow Red Caffeine.
