NASF Appoints New Board Members

The National Association for Surface Finishers has placed five new members on its Board of Directors.

new members of the naf boardThe following industry executives have recently become members of the NASF Board of Directors:

  • Darrick Gula, OEM Manager NA at Atotech Group. He has over 20 years of experience in the plating and metal finishing area and has worked in multiple electronic plating plants, including OEMs and suppliers around the U.S., including responsibilities in machine design, process control, engineering, and plant operations. 
  • Cara Burzynski, President of AeroDynamics and Revolution Scientific. She runs the family-owned businessess in Seabrook, NH, and is the founder and president of the New England chapter of Women in Manufacturing and serves on the NADCAP Aerospace Quality Systems team.
  • Emilio Pedral, Vice President Global Marketing at MacDermid Enthone. He joined MEIS in 2012 as Western Regional Business Manager; during his collaboration in the organization, he has held several leadership positions, most recently as Director of Marketing and Business Development for the Americas.
  • Kevin Pludeman, President of Cornerstone Systems. The Crystal Lake, IL company provides Visual Shop management software for companies in the metal finishing, heat treating, coatings, and other manufacturing service industries. He previously served on the board of the Chicago NASF chapter.
  • Julie Ormsby-Modlik, President of Akron Plating. She is also a member of the Ohio Association of Metal Finishers Board of Directors.

Jeff Brassard from Palm International is president of the NASF Board of Directors with Waasy Boddison from American Plating Power serving as Vice President. 

Other board members include Steffen Wolkerstorfer from Wolkerstorfer Co., Rebecca Bennett from Precision Plating, Marc Aleksinas from Metal Chem, Mark Burger from K.C. Jones Plating, Dan Dunigan from A Brite Company, Brian Greene from Plating Specialists, Pat Hayden from Unimetal Surface Finishing, Molly Kellogg from Hubbard Hall, Bryan Leiker from K&L Anodizing and MFASC, Terry McGuinness from All Clean Hazardous Waste Removal, and Bill Stock from Microfinish.

The five new board members replace departing members Brad Majoy from Pavco, Charles Morgan from Triple Cities Metal Finishing, Chris Capalbo from New Method Plating, Jeff Grube from BFG Electroplating, and Richard Lynch from MacDermid Enthone.
