Aluminum extrusion manufacturer Keymark Corp. of Fonda, New York, has added a new coating facility to its operations in Lakeland, Florida.
Keymark manufactures architectural aluminum extrusions for the United States curtainwall, storefront, and architectural window markets.
Company officials say Keymark has installed a new chrome-conversion-free, 25-foot vertical powder coating facility. The new 76,000-square-foot facility complements the company’s existing 40-foot horizontal wet/powder coat line. Officials explain that the addition is an effort to meet market demands from the architectural and residential fenestration sectors.
They add that the new facility brings the company’s total production space in Lakeland to more than 330,000 square feet and adds an additional 40-plus jobs to the community.
Keymark’s capabilities include die engineering design and manufacturing, aluminum extrusion finishing, powder and wet painting, anodizing and custom packaging, among others.
