Spartek announced it completed its acquisition of Marca Technologies in a union of two North American vacuum metallizers.
Spartek is a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of spirits closures and cosmetic packaging markets, with capabilities including inline vacuum metallizing and coating, injection molding, assembly, and post-decoration services.
Marca Technologies manufactured vacuum metallization equipment, including an automated R3D vacuum metallizers with an integrated coating line and the CM40, a plastic cutlery metallizing system.
George Parke IV, CEO of Spartek, says the acquisition of Marca Technologies is a perfect fit for Spartek’s goal of operating innovative, large-scale metallizing and coating lines. With the Marca purchase, Spartek now operates four fully-automated, high-speed, inline metallizing and coating lines with immediate plans for expanding their capacity and capabilities.
“Marca Technologies is an extraordinary company with an amazing team and engineering capabilities,” Parke says. “Together, we have the ability to produce high-volume, low-cost vacuum metallized products domestically for a variety of industries and markets.”
